We anticipated the opening of The Coffee Cup restaurant on Randolph and Hamline for months. Then…Covid-19 arrived. However, many dedicated local businesses are providing wonderful take out service. Upload the app Toast Takeout and you will find local restaurants, like The Coffee Cup. Very easy!

We got outside for a bit to check on the neighborhood. The Mississippi River is running high and fast and the car wash is closed (much to the dismay of the gentleman pictured in this post) but people are out and about.

It was a perfect day to visit the fair! …not everybody looked happy though. I wonder why? LOL We visited the Democratic HQ; lots of smiles and activity.

One of the joys of family get-togethers is meeting new members of the clan. 🙂 Russell was part of a weekend gathering at Matthews Lake in Wisconsin, hitching a ride with his Mom and Dad, Tanya and Corey.
