A little retrospective as the kittens begin to move out this weekend:
-
The kittens next door are almost ready to go to their ‘furrever’ homes. They have been treated to stringed instruments, a dog visit- and social time with the adult cats of the house- all in preparation :).

Yep. Mayhem and fun at 7 weeks. Check out the gallery to see how the fosters have grown!

What a wonderful challenge…and how often do I feel ‘out-of-focus’ these days! Ah, but this is about pictures, so here is a recent favorite of the cats Dylan and Bagheera- looking a bit extraterrestrial… Here are my offerings for the Daily Post- Focus:
And now for something a bit more in focus from an outdoor concert last night. It was hard to know exactly where to aim- so this shot fits the theme also. My nephew is the one with the flying locks 🙂

As our thoughts and prayers are with London and the UK- and all places touched by violence- we also turn to the littlest lives being lived right next door. Sadly, the most fragile kitten died shortly after being brought from another foster setting this past weekend. The remaining five are jolly and rambunctious; adored and lovingly cared for by their foster parents.

Kittens are definitely on my radar as my neighbors are fostering six! At the moment I can think of nothing more evanescent than a tiny kitten needing to be bottle fed one day and the next attempting to climb a cat sized skyscraper/ scratching post…
