Weekly Photo Theme: Evanescent

Kittens are definitely on my radar as my neighbors are fostering six! At the moment I can think of nothing more evanescent than a tiny kitten needing to be bottle fed one day and the next attempting to climb a cat sized skyscraper/ scratching post…

Weekly Photo Challenge: CHAOS

artists lived here

CHAOS…is how I am feeling in the run up to 11/8, so I selected a ‘chaotic’ photo from a post I did three years ago, documenting the graffiti art and architecture of Island Station power plant.

What does shine mean to me? I think it is the reflection of the faces of people who have graciously allowed me to snap their photo over the years. Thank you.

Weekly Photo Challenge: (happy) Nostalgia

I thought about the idea of ‘ nostalgia ‘ most of the day today. There is great joy in the memory- and the knowledge that weathering the emotional storms allows me to look at the photograph with love.

Dad, Thea (just turned 40) and Andrew (also a 40 something…) at the North Lake Adirondack cabin on an August day 35 or 36 years ago. I took the photo and was a youthful 20- something 🙂
