Peace Out

Gabriela is a blues musician- and a cat lover. Minnie crashed the shoot. Eliot chilled downstairs on the radiator. Peace out.

  1. ‘The Mississippi Delta was shining like a National guitar.’
I love this opening line, one of the best ever. I love that song. I love National guitars. Beautiful post!

    1. Thank you! Gabriela is amazing- the National is a 1936- she bought it in Rochester, NY- on ‘layaway’ in the late ’80’s and would go visit it until paid for. She is also mom to two tuxies…does it get any better??!! One of her other guitars is a 1931 Dobro…if you are ever in town… πŸ™‚

  2. Hi Stina,
Very cool shoot! I also would be very indulgent for such a cute photo shoot crasher :).
I have no musical talents with instruments but my little cousin does. She drums professionally in an alternative music band( all woman!) based in Minneapolis.

    Happy Sunday to ya!

    1. Hello! Your cousin sounds fascinating…do you think she would let an aspiring photog take some pictures of the band?? πŸ™‚

  3. My human likes the pictures very much, but what I can’t understand is why Minnie would go anywhere near those instruments of torture! Whenever my human picks up his saxophone Shaggy and I run away – ‘cos It sounds like he’s pulling out cat guts to string guitars with!!
