I wanted to share a few images from a 4 mile walk around our neighborhood. W7th strong! The first picture is of two small business owners about whom I have blogged over the years (7th Street Tattoo, 7th Street Barbers). When will we learn? My cities (St Paul and Minneapolis) are, literally, on fire. “No justice, no peace.” We demand justice for the murder of George Floyd. Curfews are in place. We got outside for a bit to check on the neighborhood. The Mississippi River is running high and fast and the car wash is closed (much to the dismay of the gentleman pictured in this post) but people are out and about.
