I want this place saved for artists. If I had buckets of money, I would buy it. You are all welcome. I have formed this recent, rather formidable attachment and cannot stay away. This relic from the 1920’s will be sold (rumors) or torn down. Whatever happens, it will be sanitized, made pretty, landscaped and condominimized (like that?!) and I will not be able to afford, nor will want to go there any more. I suppose that is why I cling to it now and will continue to do so, until thrown out, locked up, or there is nothing left.

Step 1: Trespass
Actually, it only took step one. But, geez, nothing BAD happened!
(An aside: I emailed my city councilman- know him/ great guy- asked if I was going to be arrested if I posted my pics…he thought not- haha :). I suspect the teenager within me is not quite quelled…

I agreed to take senior pictures for a friend’s grandson…I think his mom was a little worried about my interest in the non-traditional, but we did lots of the usual poses, as well- (and it was for free :))

*UPDATE* Following porch sitting, I met Baxter and his mom, Jeannette. They also wish to celebrate the day.
I am on our front porch reading the wonderful posts about World Animal Day. A few moments ago, a little girl and her mother passed by the house and I heard the little one call out, “look, kitties in the window!” The boys preened and nosed the screen, as they are wont to do when being adored…
