In my garden- lots of Black-Eyed-Susan’s…the shot from above is boring. Actually laying in the garden and shooting toward the sky (thank goodness NO garter snakes) is more interesting!

I am feeling like a boring photog– neither ‘edgy’ or ‘innovative’… So, while trapped by a train crossing the tracks in downtown St. Paul, I took a few shots and decided to experiment. Just sayin’…

How many themes have I mucked about in? A few dollars spent, and I am back to the simplicity of “Twenty Eleven”. *sigh* I don’t know what I expected would happen with a super-charged theme…there were no fireworks and my technical side fell down on the job- despite the ease with which the templates are loaded…

Last evening was the opening of an art show benefiting The Pet Project, an organization dedicated to keeping pets and their caregivers together by providing pet food and pet supplies to food shelves. They offer quarterly low-cost vaccination clinics and provide information about other programs that provide reduced-cost veterinary care.
Dylan was one of the subjects, as was “Johnny Cash”, a French Bulldog whose portrait I had the pleasure of taking. Johnny was a bit taken aback by the Sphynx cat, the other featured portrait, when she took a swipe at him with her glitter claws…
