It is a spectacular June day…not too hot, breezy- perfect for people, kids, dogs…everyone! So we took my partner’s mom our for lunch at Sea Salt (cool! they have a WordPress blog!) near Minnehaha Falls (can you hear Longfellow reciting poetry??!) in Minnehaha Park.
While there, folks were passing out beautiful pottery from Northern Clay Center.

What a great day for a tour of local gardens! My favorite cafe, Fresh Grounds, put together an amazing array of flowers and art- including a painting created on site by Jimmy Longoria, renowned Chicano artist and mentor. He and wife Connie Fullmer founded the organization Mentoring Peace Through Art.
